Demonic Control
Demons can affect us physically as well as spiritually.
Pride is not good - it usually comes before a downfall.
Believers can be under control of deceiving spirits.
Satan can put disgusting thoughts in our head, while were reading
the bible etc.
How do we know if its flesh pattern or Satan?
We must resist the bad thoughts, give them to God - if they go
they're from Satan, if not they're our own flesh.
Anger is an opening for control and so is un-forgiveness.
We must cast our anxieties on God. God will sort them for us.
Resist pride and humble ourselves.
Satan cannot take our soul, but he can stunt
our growth.
Resisting Control
When we recognise an area of our lives, is under Satan's control,
we must take steps:
- Don't allow a foothold for Satan to come in.
- Resist the devil and submit to God.
- Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to us what He wants us to
understand from these course notes. (The Holy Spirit is like our
big brother, He is our teacher)
- Read the "I
Ams" regularly. Put them in your pocket.
